Professional Development Associates offers a full range of executive level screening and psychological assessments. Businesses and healthcare entities invest significant time and resources in recruiting and evaluating executives and senior leadership. Boards and governing bodies often need and request impartial and comprehensive assessments of key leaders in order to evaluate for hiring, promotion, or remediating poorly-performing executives.

Basic competence is no longer acceptable in today’s fast-moving and dynamic marketplace. Organizations need to bring to bear all available technical and behavioral expertise in order to make successful employee decisions. Cognitive skills, experience and management style are only partial indicators of leadership success. Psychological factors, including personality communication style and character structure are often more predictive of success and achievement of goals.

The EEP performed by PDA LLC is tailored to the needs of the customer. Assessments typically involve comprehensive behavioral screening, psychological testing and a psychiatric interview condensed in to one easy to understand report. Neuropsychological testing and cognitive assessments are also available components based upon client need and circumstance. The evaluation is typically two days, and will result in a comprehensive report which highlights leadership strengths, areas of concern and dispositional factors that may affect leadership success. Collateral interviews of colleagues or previous supervisors will also be performed as needed. Assessments are performed face to face in a convenient location in Carmel, Indiana. Quick turn around of reports (48 hours after interviews complete) help accommodate the tight timelines of the executive interviewing team and Board Committees.
